Sprint Cadence & Delivery Coaching
A multi-sprint coaching engagement that rebuilds planning, WIP discipline, and review habits so service teams ship on a rhythm clients can trust.
Who this is for
Software service teams — agencies, captive delivery centres, and product-support squads — who already run sprints but keep missing client commitments. Typical signs: carry-over that nobody owns, planning that balloons past two hours, and reviews that showcase demos without naming delivery risk.
Result you should expect
By the end of the engagement the team holds a working cadence without the coach in every ceremony: a planning agenda that finishes on time, WIP limits that people actually defend, and a definition of ready that matches how your clients write briefs.
Scope included
- Diagnostic observation of two live sprints (ceremonies, board, and handoff points)
- Redesign of planning, daily coordination, and review formats with the team — not for them
- Pair coaching with the delivery lead / Scrum Master during the first redesigned cycles
- Programming consulting office hours (twice weekly) for concrete backlog and estimation questions
- Mid-engagement checkpoint with a written findings note for leadership
Out of scope
We do not rewrite your tooling stack, hire for you, or run performance reviews. We also do not replace your product owner; we coach how the PO and engineers decide together.
How it runs
- Week 0 — Intake call, access to board history, agreement on which squad is in focus.
- Weeks 1–2 — Shadowing and a frank readout of friction points.
- Weeks 3–7 — Cadence redesign and live coaching through successive sprints.
- Final week — Handoff: working agreements documented, open risks listed, optional follow-up retainer discussed.
Duration & delivery
Six to ten weeks depending on squad size and how many client streams you juggle. Sessions happen in Pattaya or Bangkok rooms when travel helps, otherwise hybrid with cameras on for ceremonies we facilitate.
Preparation
Share the last four sprints of board exports, current working agreements (even if informal), and one client brief that recently caused estimation pain. Nominate a single internal sponsor who can unblock calendar conflicts.
Pricing basis
Quoted per engagement after the intake call. Rates reflect squad size, travel days, and whether programming consulting office hours run in Thai business hours only or include evening coverage for distributed teams. See Rates for starting ranges.
